【What are you talking ★about★? 你說啥？】
很多人，好像是因為 talk about (說) 以及 think about (想) 是很自然的說法，任何關於說或想的動詞都會加 about.
錯！錯！錯！
最壞的三個「慣犯」是 mention (提), discuss (討論) 以及 consider (考慮).
比方說，要說「他有提到這個」，很多人會講：
X He mentioned about it.
錯！Mention 沒有 about!
√ He mentioned it.

討論也是。曾有學生說：「我們討論最適合結婚的年齡。」
X We are discussing about the best age to get married.
錯！Discuss 沒有 about!
√ We are discussing the best age to get married.

還有，一個「虎媽」跟我說她罵了小孩，要孩子多考慮未來。
X I told her she has to consider about her future.
錯！Consider 沒有 about!
√ I told her she has to consider her future.
